Uniform notes

The general rule we are following is the trend with
most professional clubs.....darks at home (green),
whites on the road. We'll mix n match if we have back
to back away or home games in one weekend.

YAT - Deja vu all over again

The United managed to tie their seventh straight consecutive game in a row (redundancy intentional) - another 0-0 tie. This was also the second 0-0 tie with the Carolina Breakers Blue. We dominated most of the first half, but could not find the net - kind of like JJ Redick in the second half against UNC.

YAT - United Withstands Coastal Force

We stopped a habit of getting behind in games - we never trailed. However, we did wind up with another tie - our fourth in four league games and our sixth straight tie game. Another great game in goal by keeper Zac Scott was highlighted by his stop of a penalty kick by #00, the Force's leading scorer.

YAT - Groundhog Day

Yet another tie - that was our fifth consecutive tie game. Again we fell behind 1-0 in the second half, even though the Wilson team was down a player after a red card for unsportsmanlike behavior. Ben Rice came to our rescue with a direct kick goal after a foul call. Zac Scott played a great game in goal with 15 saves (at least).

Yet Another Tie (YAT)

Continuing our season long pattern, we fell behind 1-0 and came back to tie the SSL Rockets. Our lone goal was scored in the 37th minute on a pass from Kegan Tawney to Douglas Kosiba. We had numerous opportunities, especially in the second half, when we outshot our opponents 17-7.
